Arbroath Christmas Farmers’ Market

We have exciting news about our next Arbroath Market, which will take place on Sunday 15th December, in the historic Arbroath Abbey grounds from 10 – 2.

Ours is a popular Farmers Market, taking place a number of times a year, with small producers of local food, who draw the crowds!

The Abbey will be free-to-enter, on Sunday 15th December, in keeping with the usual practice for our market events, and fitting entertainment is being planned, as we speak!

Being from Arbroath, we’re incredibly excited to have the opportunity to set the market up in our historic Abbey. Events in the Abbey are a rarity, so we really want to make it the best we can for the good of the town, and the local area!

Since we first set up as a non-profit Community Group back in 2017, getting on for 8 years ago now, we have from the first discussed the fact, that the Abbey granted the right long ago, for a market in Arbroath, to bring improvements to the Community, and that’s the same reason we’re holding the markets today! Hoping that the amazing local producers we’re supporting with the markets will flourish and become a reason for more visitors to come here!
