Angus Doors Open Days
10 & 11 September 2022

In light of recent events, and after careful consideration, the Scottish Civic Trust have taken the decision for Doors Open Days to go ahead this weekend, for the benefit of local communities and to honour the hard work and planning undertaken by venues.

However, the following venues in Angus will no longer be opening for Doors Open Days on 10 & 11 September:

Balmashanner War Memorial

Angus Archives Pop-Ups at Monikie Country Park and Kirriemuir Library

Webster Memorial Theatre

Picture Store Tour at the Meffan Museum

Arbroath and Forfar Fire Stations

To the best of our knowledge, all other venues will be open as planned during the Doors Open Days weekend in Angus. If you have any queries, please contact the venue directly.

Doors Open Days will take place in Angus on 10 and 11 September 2022.

Visit a range of historical buildings and venues offering guided tours and special experiences, many of which are not generally open to the public.

See the programme below to discover the places you can visit, and start planning your weekend in Angus.

Doors Open Days takes place throughout Scotland and is part of European Heritage Days. For more information, please visit the Doors Open Days website.
