Round off your day with a visit to the Gin Bothy Experience in nearby Glamis village to browse the range of handcrafted gins and ciders on offer.

There’s lots more to discover on day two. Start off with a visit to House of Dun, a beautiful Georgian mansion house surrounded by scenic woodland. Last stop is Arbroath and a boat trip to see the Bell Rock Lighthouse, the oldest surviving sea-washed lighthouse, known as one of the seven wonders of the industrial world.
