The Community First Hub is a unique venue in that it is a working social enterprise which has community and planet at the heart of everything it does. It is home to a Social Supermarket, Community Cafe, Climate Conscious Clothing Project, Training Kitchen and Community Space.
The Hub has been designed to generate income which is re-invested into projects and initiatives which support the community including the creation of jobs, training and volunteering opportunities, work experience for senior pupils and unemployed adults. It has also been designed to ensure that everything that happens in the hub is affordable or free so that experiences can be offered, accessible and enjoyed by everyone.
Come along and have a tour behind the scenes looking at what goes on and how the hub works. Hear about the impact the Social Supermarket and other activities are having on the environment and the community as well as enjoying what is on offer in the Community Cafe, The Little Green Cafe.
