Covid-19 Update – Bamse B&B has reopened for bookings.
Having both worked in the hospitality sector for a total of 18 years between us, you can be sure of a warm but professional welcome from Euan and myself, Gordon.
As a guest in our home which includes my baby brother Alexander (typical teenage boy but also with experience in hospitality so he knows how to look after our guests!) and our 3 rescue pets; Bear, an adolescent American bulldog who’s soft as anything; Ruben, a Norwegian Forest cat who thinks he is a snow fox; and Slippers, a bitser moggy who thinks everyone is his new bff – you will need to be pet friendly. In fact, you can bring your own pets if you want to as long as they are happy to socialise with ours. If you are missing your non-human best friend, feel free to adopt ours for the duration of your stay.
Our rooms are comfy and well equipped without being fussy; each has a flatscreen TV, a tea & coffee station and all are en suite. There is a guest lounge where you can borrow a book if you have forgotten yours or you can simply relax with put your feet up and watch TV on our large flatscreen with all Sky channels.
Breakfasts are cooked to order and the ingredients are sourced locally where we can. We can also make you homemade packed lunches, just ask for details.
We very much hope that you will find Bamse B&B a little slice of home from home.
Two twin/superking, one double.
Covid-19 – We’re Good to Go
In recognition that this business has confirmed that they have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, ensuring processes are in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social/physical distancing.
We offer bedding, bowls and treats. Dogs are welcome within the rooms, garden and lounge though as we cook within the breakfast room we cannot accept them there. We also have in house pet-sitting and there is one restaurant and one pub within easy walking distance that is also dog friendly. Finally a park is ideally positioned at the end of the street for morning and evening outings.
