My Angus: 20 to 26 March 2023

A History of Murton

Wednesday 22 March
10.30am to 12 noon

Murton Farm, Tea Room and Nature Reserve is a popular visitor attraction outside Forfar where visitors can meet the very friendly collection of animals and birds, enjoy a walk or leisurely stroll around the extensive nature reserve, explore the play area, take part in regular events and have a bite to eat in beautiful surroundings.

During My Angus, find out all about the history of Murton. Alison, the trust manager, will start with a talk and a short video in the Rural Skills Cabin about Murton’s history and how it is the thriving nature reserve and visitor farm it is today. This will be followed by a guided walk around the nature reserve. Entry is free, although donations are welcome. Book online or call 01307 819491.
