Solstice Bat Walk and Film Screening of La Belle et la Bête
Saturday 22 June, 10pm – 1am (walk), and 11pm (screening)
The weekend also includes our annual bat walk — a late-night Solstice stroll through Hospitalfield’s grounds and gardens, to watch, learn about, and listen to our resident bats. Taking place on the second evening of Grow Up, the bat walk will explore the various bat boxes dotted high on Hospitalfield’s tall walls and towering trees.
The bat walk will be followed by a screening of La Belle et la Bête, Jean Cocteau’s 1946 fantastical cinematic reimagining of the Beauty and the Beast.
