Drawing with the Sun with Artist Chelin Miller
30 August 2024, 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Artist Chelin Miller, Tayside Healthcare Arts Trust (THAT) and Hospitalfield invite people with experience of living with long term health conditions to participate in a group over eight weekly workshops.
We invite you to explore Hospitalfield and its history and learn about various printing methods to create tangible pieces of work without using digital equipment. Our tools will be primitive cameras, land and sea plants, natural objects and most importantly: the sun.
Participants will bring what they have created together as a small collection of work at Hospitalfield or a print publication by the end of the eight weeks.
These workshops will be practical in approach, Chelin will explain things in a way that is easy to understand, new methods will be demonstrated in person and participants will have a chance to share ideas, making the workshop a journey of discovery.
