We’ve teamed up with Angus Transport Group and Fettercairn Distillery to bring you a day out with a difference.

the journey to Bridge of Dun will take around 20 minutes. Upon arrival, you will be met by a restored classic bus, that will take you on the free service up to the distillery. The bus will depart Bridge of Dun at 1pm and will take around 30 minutes to reach the distillery. Once there, you will be given a tour of the facility and offered the chance to sample some of their finest malt Whisky. The tour will take about an hour, with the bus departing at 2.45pm. The bus will arrive at Bridge of Dun at around 3.15pm, allowing you and your party to catch the last train back to Brechin at 3.35pm.

This experience has limited capacity and is only available via advance bookings. Click the button opposite to get tickets now. Please note that although children are allowed on the tour, it may not be suitable for all ages.

Distillery tour not your thing? Don’t worry as our train services will be operating as normal. No advanced booking necessary for these.

Train ONLY Tickets: These are available on the day from the booking office at Brechin Station (card payments may be made here) and when manned from the ticket office at Bridge of Dun station. A family ticket is available which allows travel for two adults and up to three children.

Train & Distillery Tour Tickets: Advance booking required for these, click on the "BUY TICKETS" button on the website and select date required. At the end of the booking you will receive a confirmation email with a link for an e-ticket, please print e-ticket or store on a smart device. 16 June, now sold out.
